What is ApotheGARY®?
ApotheGARY® is a UK-based home fragrance house devoted to the quiet power of scent.
We do not compose fragrance - We bottle atmospheres.
Our original blends are crafted with intention - designed to shape mood, define space, and leave a lasting sensory presence. Rooted in shadow, softness, and ritual, every atmosphere is grounded in a signature house accord - unmistakably ApotheGARY®.
What is “The New Alchemy of Wellbeing”?
The New Alchemy of Wellbeing is our philosophy - a modern interpretation of transformation through scent.
Each atmosphere is created to shift mood, evoke memory, and alter the emotional character of a space. Quiet, immersive, and deeply considered, ApotheGARY® original scents are designed not simply to fragrance a room, but to change how it feels to exist within it.

What makes your product different?
Every product is developed in house and hand poured in Lancashire. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is arbitrary.
Rather than traditional fragrance pyramids, ApotheGARY® creates immersive atmospheres built around mood, memory, texture, and presence. A signature house accord runs subtly throughout the collection, creating a sensory identity that is unmistakably ApotheGARY®.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. All ApotheGARY® products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
What ingredients do you use?
We use sustainably sourced plant wax, high-quality fragrance and essential oils, and clean diffuser bases — all free from phthalates, parabens, and unnecessary additives.
Where do you ship from?
All orders are hand-packed and dispatched from our studio in the UK.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
All deliveries are sent via Royal Mail.
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns on unused and unopened items within 14 days of delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, we will arrange a replacement with photographic evidence.

Please note: due to their nature, wax melts are non-refundable unless damaged on arrival.
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photograph of the item.
We’ll resolve this promptly.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes. Our packaging is designed with recyclability in mind.
Refill pouches are fully recyclable, and our wax melt boxes feature removable labels for easy disposal.
Do you offer refills?
We currently offer refills for diffusers and home colognes.
Candle refills are in development for 2026.
Do you create custom or corporate orders?
Yes. We offer bespoke scent creations for weddings, events, and corporate gifting.

How long do your candles and diffusers last?
Candles: Approximately 45–50 hours, depending on care and environment.
Reed diffusers: Up to 12 weeks. Designed to diffuse continuously without the need to flip reeds.
How should I care for my candle?
For a clean, even burn:
– Trim the wick to 5mm before each use
– Allow the wax to melt fully to the edge on the first burn
– Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
– Never leave unattended

Wax Melts - Care & Use
How long do your wax melts last?
Enjoy up to 12 hours of fragrance, with duration varying by burner, amount used, room size and ventilation. This is total fragrance time across uses, not a recommendation for one continuous heating session. Always follow your burner’s instructions. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Can I reuse a melt, and why does the fragrance fade?
Let the wax cool and set between uses, then remelt it while fragrance remains. Unlike a candle, the wax remains in the dish as its fragrance gradually releases. Once the scent has faded, allow it to cool, remove the wax and begin a fresh ritual. Adding more wax to an exhausted melt will not restore its original fragrance and may overfill the dish.
How do I remove wax and clean the dish?
Extinguish the tealight or switch off and unplug the warmer. Allow the wax and burner to cool completely. If your dish is designed for wax removal, gently release the set wax following the manufacturer’s instructions; never force it or use a sharp tool. Dispose of used wax in household waste, never down a drain. Clean the cooled dish as directed by its manufacturer and dry it fully before reuse. Do not immerse electrical parts or place a burner in the freezer unless its manufacturer specifically permits it. Our preferred method is removing a melt once its cooled, reheat slightly with a tea light and you can just pop out the wax disc.
Which burner should I choose?
Choose an electric wax warmer or tealight burner specifically designed for wax melts, rather than assuming an oil burner is suitable. Follow its instructions for wax quantity and operating time. For tealight burners, use the unscented tealight size and burn time specified by the manufacturer. Do not add water or fragrance oil to the wax.
How do I use my burner safely?
Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts and flammable materials, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burner operating unattended or while sleeping. Do not overfill the dish, move it while hot, or touch molten wax. Allow everything to cool before handling, and follow the safety instructions supplied with both your melts and burner.
